Getting Started
Booking a shipment on shipskis.com is easy. Make sure you are logged in to your facility's corporate account, and select Ship Now to get started.
Origin/Destination
When logged in to your facility's account, your location will always default as the origin. Enter the destination details manually or by toggling Hotel/Lodge. Ship Skis services 180+ countries worldwide. Use the Country toggle to set up an international order as necessary.
Skier Information
Enter your guest's information. By entering their email address, the customer will receive automated status updates from Ship Skis to keep them informed on their shipment. Automated notifications include order confirmation, pickup confirmation, out-for-delivery confirmation, and delivery confirmation. The customer will also receive a link to track their shipment(s) in real time.
Bag Types
Select the bag types and quantities that are needed. Ship Skis can ship ski bags, snowboards, boot bags, and luggage. Each item type comes with multiple size options. Every shipment comes with complimentary insurance and the option to increase the coverage on a per-shipment basis for a nominal fee.
If you have a group of customers traveling together and want to individualize their labels, add additional travelers and repeat this step as necessary.
Service Level
Choose whether the shipment will be a round-trip or one-way, and select the pickup date needed. Pickups and deliveries are both Monday-Friday, excluding holidays. Once a pickup date is selected, you will be presented with the service levels and delivery-by-date options. Depending on the guest's needs, choose the service level that fits their needs.
Payment
At last, it's time to checkout. If your facility is set up with Club Billing also known as Net-30 invoicing), you can checkout with that option. Otherwise, select New Card and enter credit card details for the shipment.
If checking out with a credit card, Ship Skis will charge the card entered immediately upon checkout. Make note of the order total for billing purposes if you are charging the guest through your facility's POS system such as a room charge.
Order Confirmation
Once an order is completed, you will be directed to a confirmation screen immediately. From this page, you will have access to Print Labels, Edit Order, and Print Receipt. The guest will also receive this confirmation page via a confirmation email.
Note: If Club Billing was used for payment, the pricing details will be hidden from the guest.
