Skis, snowboards, and snow boots must be securely packed in a soft travel bag, hard case, or box. Luggage can ship as-is in a duffel or roller bag, though a box as the outer layer adds extra protection.
Packing your bag: close all zippers, buckles, and compartments. Pack to the weight allowance shown on your order, because going over the limit can mean extra fees or transit delays.
Attaching your label: on a soft travel bag or any fabric bag, use a luggage tag (see Using a Luggage Tag). On a hard case or box, tape the label to a flat surface with clear packing tape, covering the whole label and smoothing out any wrinkles. Don't tape labels directly to canvas or fabric.
Shipping supplies: most carrier drop-off locations sell them. The store sets its own prices, and they aren't included in ShipSkis' fees.
