Planning to ship your winter gear to a rental property? Please keep in mind that some shipments may arrive earlier than the selected delivery date on your order. To ensure a smooth delivery, review the helpful tips below before shipping.
1. Ship to the Management Office (Preferred Option)
If permitted, we recommend shipping your skis, snowboards, and luggage directly to the management office of the rental company rather than the property itself. Shipments can occasionally deliver ahead of schedule, and packages left unattended or with other guests may be misplaced or delayed.
2. Ship to a Carrier Store
If shipping to the management office isn’t an option, consider sending your gear to a local carrier store (FedEx Office Print & Ship Center). For a list of carrier store locations, please click here. Please note that not all carrier locations accept shipments and some may charge a small receiving fee, so it’s best to call ahead to confirm any restriction or fee details.
3. Arrange Local Assistance
If you have friends or neighbors in the area, consider asking them to collect your shipment should it arrive prior to your arrival date.
IMPORTANT: Before shipping, we highly recommend contacting your destination location to notify them of your upcoming shipment and expected arrival date. Some destinations may require specific details to be included on your shipping label or in your order notes, so it’s best to confirm any special instructions in advance.
