At Ship Skis, we are dedicated to making your travel experience as simple and seamless as possible. That’s why we offer the option to have your skis, snowboards, luggage, and more collected directly from your doorstep. Through our partnerships with major logistics providers, pickups can be scheduled from virtually any location for just $4.99, or $19.99 for a same-day collection.
If your order is booked in advance, your assigned logistics provider will collect your shipment(s) on the selected date at the specified location. Our standard pickup window is between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. If you won’t be present for the entire window, you can leave your shipment(s) outside next to your front door at your discretion. Just be sure your shipping label is securely attached and clearly visible to the driver. If your label is on the bottom of a bag or case, position the bag so the label can be easily seen.
Leaving a brief note on your door with instructions such as “at side door” or “please ring for pickup” can help the driver locate and collect your items efficiently.
For apartment complexes or office buildings, we recommend placing your shipment(s) in the designated shipping and receiving area. This varies by building, but typically is a mail room, shipping/receiving area, concierge desk, etc. If your building has a regular daily pickup, your shipment will likely be assigned to the same driver.
Whether you’re shipping from a lodge, hotel, resort, or residence, our team closely monitors all pickups to ensure everything goes smoothly. All you need to do is print, pack, and label your shipment prior to pickup.
If you have specific requests or instructions for the driver, please contact our Customer Support team so we can provide the necessary information to the carrier. Please note that private gate codes cannot be accepted by our partnered carriers.
IMPORTANT: The driver collecting your shipment will not have packaging materials. All shipments must be properly packaged, labeled, and ready for pickup before the scheduled pickup time.
