Every order includes up to $200.00 in Shipment Protection coverage from ShipSkis in case of a delay. This coverage applies only after our team has exhausted all available options to get your shipment to you in time for your trip. Covered expenses and terms for ski, snowboard, and luggage shipments are below.
Ski, snowboard, and boot shipments: covered expenses include ski or snowboard rentals, poles, boots, helmets, goggles, and gloves, and may not exceed $200 per qualified package. Some items may be limited in quantity based on the nature and length of the delay. Itemized receipts are required and must be submitted within 14 days of your scheduled delivery-by date or the actual delivery, as applicable. ShipSkis reserves the right to determine qualified expenses and the final reimbursement amount, not to exceed $200. All decisions made by ShipSkis are final.
Luggage shipments: covered expenses include apparel, footwear, and toiletries, and may not exceed $200 per qualified package. Itemized receipts are required and must be submitted within 14 days of your scheduled delivery-by date or the actual delivery, as applicable. ShipSkis reserves the right to determine qualified expenses and the final reimbursement amount, not to exceed $200. All decisions made by ShipSkis are final.
Force majeure: ShipSkis shall not be liable for any delay in performing, or failure to perform its obligations under this Agreement, resulting from any cause beyond its reasonable control, including, without limitation, acts of God, fire, extreme temperatures, high winds, lightning, strikes, energy interruptions, labor disputes, natural disaster, fire, flood, storm, slide, earthquake, epidemics, power failure, inability to obtain equipment, supplies or other facilities, labor disputes, terrorism, criminal activity, governmental demands or requirements, inclement weather, war, declared or undeclared, or the acts of government (each, a "Force Majeure Event"). If affected by a Force Majeure Event, ShipSkis shall be excused from performance to the extent made necessary by such event.
